Phosphate is an oxygen and phosphorous composite, expressed by the symbol P2O5. It is the most essential macronutrient contributing to a plant’s growth metabolism and tissue development.
Continual farming and rain depletes the soil’s trace minerals (micronutrients) that are required to sustain the plant’s health and improve yields. As a result, both organic and conventional farmers replenish these vital elements by way of applying phosphate based fertilizers to their soils.
Phosphate increases a plant’s overall strength and nutrient absorption by acting as a catalyst to the plant’s early maturity while contributing to superior growth of the plant’s root system. Moreover, phosphate serves as a defence mechanism to combat climate change, harmful bugs and multiple diseases.
Phosphate based fertilizers can come in many forms, but the most commonly used in the production of agriculture today include: Single Superphosphate (“SSP”), Phosrock (“DANF”) Triple Superphosphate (“TSP”), Diammounium phosphate (“DAP”), Monoammonium phosphate (“MAP”) and Thermophosphate.
DuSolo Fertilizers Inc. (“DuSolo” or “the Company”) is a vertically integrated producer of phosphate-based fertilizers in Brazil. The Company owns three agro-mineral projects – Bomfim, Ruth and Samba,
